Kingdom Laborer Program

The Kingdom Laborer program is a 2-year journey in the fundamentals of biblical mission and kingdom enterprise. The program provides comprehensive development in character, skills, and knowledge for effective ministry in the local church.

Who is it for?

The Kingdom Laborer certificate program is designed for anyone looking to be equipped to engage their surrounding culture and serve the local church while pursuing additional "tent-making" career paths separately. This includes Elders, Deacons, Micro-church leaders, Missional community leaders, Worship leaders, and focused ministries such as children, family, men, and women's ministries. It also serves as the foundation for the Apostolic Leader program.

How does it work?

The 2-year journey has you immediately on the ground with a local urban church plant, apprenticing and building out context-appropriate ministries that align with your own giftings and passions. You will engage in a deeply formative Life & Ministry developement process that will help you identify your gifts and calling, as well as building out a life plan for growing in Christ-like character and overall stability in your life and career. You will meet with your cohort weekly for socratic discussions and collaboration on your course work. Each course has you building out tools, plans, and strategies that will be used both in real time with the Neighborhood as well as foundations for the rest of your ministry life. You will engage in two major "Learning by Doing" projects, which are building and executing real ministries, followed by a written report of learnings. During this time you will have plenty of time to work, build relationships, and embed yourself in the life of the city.
