Training
Providence School of Mission provides comprehensive training for future leaders who are saying yes to Jesus' call to go into the harvest. We use an intensely hands-on approach to developing competence and all of our training is designed for practical ministry, developing your character and spiritual maturity, and providing you with the tools needed to continue a lifetime of ministry and growth in this rapidly changing world.
Who is it for
Our pilot programs are the Kingdom Laborer program and the Apostolic Leader program. Both programs are fully accredited through the Antioch School.
The Kingdom Laborer certificate program is designed for anyone looking to be equipped to engage their surrounding culture and serve the local church while pursuing additional Tent-making career paths separately. This includes Elders, Deacons, Micro-church leaders, Missional community leaders, Worship leaders, and focused ministries such as children, family, men, and women's ministries. It also serves as the foundation for the Apostolic Leader program.
The Apostolic Leader degree program is geared toward those who intend to develop or oversee Church Planting Networks. This includes Church Planters, Denominational, and Network leaders. For students not transferring in undergraduate credits, the program offers a robust classical-inspired Core Education path to equip the student to receive a full Bachelor's degree.
Financial Information
For the pilot program, Providence School of Mission's cost will be limited to the affordable tuition and material costs paid directly to the Antioch School. This works out to around $150/month for 24 months for the C.Min or 48 months for the B.Min. Please see a sample payment schedule here.
Students will also be expected to provide their own expenses while they live in the Providence area for the duration of the program.
The Neighborhood also has a scholarship fund available to supplement the costs.
